National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS)
The NPWS is currently part of the Heritage Division of the Department of Housing, Local Government & Heritage. Among other roles, it is responsible for management of National Parks and Reserves, Nature Services strategy, licensing provisions under the Wildlife Acts, and biodiversity policy. It has a huge online resource of datasets including Habitat and Species, protect sites, woodlands, river and lake mappings etc.
